Classic Rock awards held at the Cafe de Paris.

Classic Rock magazine played host to an evening of rock music greats recently at the Rock Classics awards held in Londonís Cafe de Paris. Apart from Chris Squire and Steve Nardelli, the partyís attendees included Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page, Arthur Brown with his Crazy World, Rushís Geddy Lee and Deep Purpleís Ian Gillan who was presented with an award for best classic rock album of the year by the Yes and Syn bass guitarist Chris.

There was also great interest at the Dolby Centre as Synís new album, Syndestructible was given itís first full air play to an amazed response from the gathered audience which included Classic Rocks feature writer Dave Ling, who has already tipped the album to win the award next year. The release dates for The Synís, Syndestructible album are as follows:
UK release: Sunday 30th October
European release: Friday 4th November
US release: Tuesday 8th November.
