- Pioneering prog rockers, Syn, are back with their unique brand of music on Syndestructable. Steve Nardelli, of Yes, contributes airy vocals to the songs’ innovative melodies. While some tracks such as, "Breaking Down Walls for Freedom," have a more progressive rock sound, others such as "City of Dreams" have a more traditional rock feel. This makes the music more appealing to those who may not normally like progressive rock. However, even the album offers enough creative twists to satisfy progressive rock fans. Unlike other bands in this genre, Syn aren’t trying to be different, their music’s originality speaks for itself.
